This workshop is aimed at children aged 1-5 years old and a parent. This is a relaxed group where kids and parents will get messy and enjoy the sensory elements of clay and make two small Christmas ornaments to take home.
Price includes materials and firing costs.

The mini creative course is developed for children aged 6-11. Students will design and create a range of objects including a desk organiser, a mini pot plant and a bowl. Students will also get to experience the pottery wheel.
The price includes all glazing, decorating and firing.

The creative teen course is self directed and geared towards the individual learner. It focuses on exploration, experimentation and discovery. Students will work with a variety of techniques including hand building and wheel work.
The price includes all glazing and firing.

CREATIVE CLAY GROUP
2 Hours – $330 group booking
Do you have a work group or group of friends that would like to do a 2 hour class but Friday night doesn’t work for you? Book your group in for a 2 or 3 hour session for up to 6 people at a specified time.

Your teacher will guide you on your journey to make either a small dish or platter and object of your choosing. You’ll be able to either decorate your piece with a bit of colour or emboss patterns.
The 2 hour session is a fun, casual intro to clay, a chance to have a laugh and get your hands a little dirty. The 3 hour session is more of a workshop and will give you the time to really focus in on your piece.

You’re free to BYO food and alcohol to the group bookings.

You’ll be working at the tables in the hand building space, this class is not on the pottery wheel.
Your pieces will take about 2 weeks to dry. After that they’ll be fired once, glazed, then fired again. The whole process takes around 4 weeks, but may take a little longer.
If, at the end of the workshop, you’ve finalised your piece with no colour, we dip your work in a white glaze, but if you have decorated with our underglaze paints or slip, we’ll dip it in a clear glaze. This dip glazing is recommended as it will give your work a smooth finish making them easy to clean.
Because of the room size and Covid rules, this class is limited to 10 participants. Email for registration and further questions.
FRIDAY MUD CLUB
FRIDAY 6.30 -8.30pm

FAQ
Parking – You are able to park on the corner of McHugh street and Carrington Lane where it is a short walk to our studio. You will see the sign from the road.
Clay – All the clay that you will need is included in the price
Glazes – We have a small range of underglazes and glazes and oxides in stock also included in the price.
Firing – Firing included with course costs.
